Write 1 page essay based on a book

So, in class, we been reading a book call Friday Night Lights by Bissinger.

You can search for summary or read an overview so that you know what?s going on in the book. You can tell that there are some racial, school test scores, students, team, and football sport issues covered in the book.

Let’s pretend that you are the new principal at Permian High School in 1991, the year after Friday Night Lights was released, and the school board has asked you to improve student test scores (continued low test scores would mean your dismissal). Given the political situation in Odessa in which you know that a frontal assault on the football team would mean your immediate removal from office, describe at least Three Concrete Changes you would make to the school to improve the education it provides to its students. Be certain to weigh the costs and benefits of the alterations you suggest in detail. How likely is it that your policy shifts would be embraced by the town and implemented successfully given what Bissinger writes about Odessa in Friday Night Lights?
