Scholars of Change
As noted in the resources this week, health care professionals can be leaders of social change. As you prepare for this Discussion: Reflect on how you would like to harness all you have learned to be an agent for social change in your community as a health care professional. View several videos from the Scholars of Change website.
By Day 4, post a thoughtful response to the following: What can you do as a scholar of change to initiate change in your community? What can you do to initiate change outside of your community? What have you learned at Walden that has strengthened your ability to initiate social change? What was missing from these courses that would have enhanced your awareness of social change in the field of health care? What was present in your classes (in assignments and in classroom Discussions) that contributed to your understanding and/or appreciation of social change in health care?
